Meet the Team

Darlene Pinkerton
Co-Founder & President

Darlene Pinkerton is an innovator, entrepreneur and trailblazer in the world of gestational surrogacy and donor conception. Darlene started as a contract coordinator at husband Tom Pinkerton’s Reproductive Law Center. As one of the first families in the world to have a child via gestational surrogacy (daughter Kaitlin, born in 1990), Tom and Darlene’s personal experience led her to form A Perfect Match, one of the 1 st and leading surrogacy and egg donation agencies, based in San Diego.

Becoming a mother, first to Ty (who lived to be 43 and is the longest living lung recipient from a living donor (Darlene!) and then to Kaitlin, Darlene’s fierce determination to create families, empathy and 30-year career have led her to this moment – creating a new type of sperm donation experience for both donors and recipient parents.
